Group Managing Director

Roger was born in Jersey and educated at De La Salle College, Jersey. After a period of study in Liverpool he returned to Jersey and joined the Civil Service as a management trainee. In 1973 a change of direction saw him move to Hambros Channel Islands Trust Corporation Limited. He was appointed a Director in 1985 and Managing Director in 1998 of what had then become SG Hambros Trust Company (Jersey) Limited. A member of STEP he gained a wealth of experience in his previous roles and joined Capco in July 2000 as Group Managing Director.

Roger has a keen interest in squash and is a past President of the Jersey Squash Club. He is a Rotarian and is also a past Chairman of the Jersey Area Board of Young Enterprise.

Director

Gary was born in Jersey in 1959 and has worked in the finance industry since he completed his education in 1977. He is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

After spending eight years with Williams & Glyn’s Bank,
he joined Hambros Channel Islands Trust Corporation Limited (now known as SG Hambros Trust Company (Channel Islands) Limited) and was appointed Assistant Director in June 1999. He joined Capco in July 2000 and was appointed to the position of director in February 2001, taking responsibility for the client administration teams and developing the business.

Gary is a keen sportsman and enjoys reading, gardening and travelling.

Assistant Manager

Margaret was born and educated in Jersey. She joined Capco in November 2000 as a Senior Trust and Company Administrator, having previously worked with SG Hambros Trust Company (Jersey) Limited (now known as SG Hambros Trust Company (Channel Islands) Limited) and was appointed as Assistant Manager in October 2002. Margaret has been involved with client administration for the past 17 years and in February 2001 she was awarded the Institute of Financial Services Diploma in Trust Estate Practice.

Margaret has a keen interest in flying, having obtained a Private Pilot’s Licence in 1982, followed by night and IMC ratings. She is also interested in genealogy and enjoys travelling, reading and walking.

Chairman, Capco Trust Holdings Limited

After reading law at the University of Birmingham, David was articled to a firm of solicitors in the city of London, which specialised in shipping. He came to Jersey in 1974 and worked as an Assistant Solicitor to an English Tax Practice and with a firm of Jersey Advocates and Solicitors, attending to their international commercial and tax work. He also established David Capps & Co English Solicitors from which the Capco Group has grown into one of the largest independent service providers in Jersey.

David’s interests include dry stone walling, the appreciation of art and a wide range of music. He is a Lay reader at his local parish church, the Chairman of the Mission to Seafarers Jersey Branch, and Chairman of the Board of Governors of FCJ Primary School in Jersey.

Manager

Ian was born in Jersey in 1963 and joined Capco Trust Jersey Limited in June 2001 as Manager with responsibilities for client administration, having previously had 21 years experience in the finance industry. Ian spent the first three years of his career with Standard Chartered Trust Company (Jersey) Limited before leaving the Island to travel. Upon his return he joined Hambros Channel Islands Trust Corporation Limited (now known as SG Hambros Trust Company (Channel Islands) Limited) where he spent almost 19 years having been appointed Assistant Manager in 1996 and then Manager in March 2000.

Ian who is married with three children is a keen all round sportsman who has a record number of Island Badminton titles and was selected as the Jersey flag bearer when competing at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester.

Assistant Manager

Siobhan was born in Jersey in 1978 and educated at Jersey College for Girls. She began her career in the offshore trust & company industry in 1997, initially with Price Waterhouse (now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers), later joining EFG Reads Trust Company Limited. Siobhan subsequently joined Capco in June 2003 as a Company and Trust Administrator, qualifying as a member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners in 2006 and was appointed as Assistant Manager, later that year.

Siobhan enjoys horse riding, yoga, music and travelling

Assistant Manager

Lisa was born in Jersey in 1965 and was educated at FCJ School and Beaulieu Convent. She finished her education in 1983 and joined Hambros Channel lslands Trust Corporation Limited (now known as SG Hambros Trust Company (Channel Islands) Limited) where she spent 18 years. Lisa joined Capco Trust Jersey Limited in May 2001 as a Senior Trust and Company Administrator and was appointed as Assistant Manager in October 2005.

Lisa who is married with three children enjoys travelling, walking and cooking.

Director

Rita was born and educated in Jersey and has worked in the finance industry since 1979 when she joined Reads & Co, a local firm of accountants, as an administrator in their offshore department. During her 22 years with the firm, which is now known as EFG Trust Company Limited, she held various positions within the private client department, which culminated in her appointment as a Director in 1998.

Rita joined Capco in July 2001.

Rita’s interests include travelling to unusual destinations, gardening, home improvements, reading and listening to music.

Group Finance Director

Andrew was educated at De La Salle College, Jersey and the University of Southampton. Upon graduation he joined BDO Jersey where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. After four years he left to join Mourant as Client Accounting Manager dealing with a range of offshore structures including Private Equity Limited Partnerships, Special Purpose Vehicles and Employee Benefit Trusts. In 2000 he moved to QSPV (Jersey) Limited, a subsidiary of Maples & Calder, as a Vice President, where he worked on CDOs, asset financings, structured note issues and MTN programmes.

Joining Capco in 2001 he was appointed Group Finance Director with responsibility for Finance, Client Accounting and the firm’s Information Technology.
